MIDDLETON and Heywood battled out a topsy-turvy Central Lancashire League match at Crimble that could have gone either way.

Despite a brilliant century from Moonraker professional Ken Skewes, the home side sneaked victory in the very last over of the game thanks to a vital innings from their skipper Bobby Cross.
