MISS England finalist Laura Shields is putting her shirt on the Robyn Brooks Appeal sportsman's dinner being a great success.
Former Cardinal Langley pupil Laura, the chemical engineering graduate who reached the final of the beauty contest in 2004, will be wearing a Brazil shirt signed by Pele, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and other World Cup-winning stars which is one of the event's top auction prizes.
She took time out from her busy schedule to pose for photographers wearing the historic shirt before she jetted out to Los Angeles for a series of photoshoots.
The Robyn Brooks Appeal sportsman's dinner takes place at the Broadfield Hotel on Thursday, 4 May.
Former Manchester City player Steve Daley, once the country's most expensive player, is guest speaker.
Brian Brooks, appeal manager, said: "I've seen Steve Daley as an after-dinner speaker and he is extremely good, while our compere Malcolm Lord is worth the admission fee on his own. So we're sure this will be an excellent event."
Tickets, including a three-course meal, are available priced £25 by ringing the appeal on 643965.
Laura was voted the sexiest woman alive in an internet poll organised by the beauty competition website www.globalbeauties.com.
She has been tipped as a future Bond girl and her IQ of 140 places her in the top one per cent in the country.
