Lodge death no longer treated as suspicious

POLICE say that they are no longer treating the death of a man whose body was found in a lodge as suspicious.
The 42-year-old's body was found partly submerged in the Rhodes Lodges area of Middleton yesterday afternoon (Tuesday). It had been in the water for some time.
The man has not yet been formally identified. A post mortem examination today showed that the cause of his death was inconclusive, but that there was no indication of foul play or third-party involvement.
