Becks and Posh shop in Middleton

IT WAS definitely a red Christmas for Brooklyn Beckham - and it was all down to a Middleton shopkeeper.
Passers-by stopped and stared when a Mercedes pulled up outside the Middleton Cycles shop on Long Street and out got David and Victoria Beckham.
They were searching for a bike for their son Brooklyn. However, there was a problem. The bike they chose - a JCB Junior which retails at around £80 was painted yellow, a colour not quite suitable for the son of a red devil. But shop owner, Mike Doolan, wasn't fazed by the setback.
He said: "I arranged for the bike to be professionally sprayed red and customised with the name Brooklyn and the figure seven."
