FANS of enduring songstress Barbara Dickson should head for the Stockport Plaza on Sunday where she will be in concert.

The Scottish folk singer turned musical star and chart favourite is celebrating 40 years in showbusiness next year and has a new album, Nothing's Gonna Change My World.

Barbara's tuneful tones first came to prominence when Willy Russell cast her in the Beatles-inspired musical John, Paul, George, Ringo ... & Bert.

But she has had hit records, starting with Answer Me and including a huge No1 hit with Elaine Paige, I Know Him So Well.
