Soapbox: Sally wages war against teen love
Rachel Broady20/ 1/2006
CORONATION STREET Sally's one mother fight
against teen love continues. She reports Craig to the police - and
it's not for crimes against fashion. The Romeo and Juliet of the
cobbles arrive home to find the police questioning granddad Keith
about Craig.
Meanwhile, dining out in Weatherfield continues to show a class
divide with the Baldwins eating at the Clock, the Platts at the
pizza place and the Battersbys at the chippy.
The Clock may be losing business now Mike is on a slippery slope,
but the pizza place makes money at a Platt family do - where Jason
lashes out at Jamie for dating Violet, leaving girlfriend Sarah
peeved at his obvious jealousy - and when she makes her feelings
known he storms off with a shock proposal for his ex.
Meanwhile, the younger Battersby can avoid the chippy having gone
up in the world by moving temporarily into Mike's swanky
flat.
Back at Platt villa, David is pretending to like Phil the foot
fetishist but makes it difficult for Lurch-a-like to do his job by
slamming the car boot on his hand.
Ed and Dev, meanwhile, have their feet under the tables they have
been coveting.
Ed is so comfortable at Emily's that he tells her he has spent time
in prison and Dev makes it clear to daughter Amber that he is only
interested in being a father to his new twins.
EMMERDALE Laurel and Ashley are left with full
responsibility for Jasmine when her parents say they can't return
to the UK yet. Of course, the first thing they should do is buy the
little strumpet a polo neck but instead they just agree to send her
to Hotton comp.
The decision makes Debbie jealous and she realises she wasted her
own academic opportunities - if only she'd read Rumplestiltskin
more thoroughly she may not have had to give her baby away.
Nicola hands Simon a cheque for £25,000 telling him she wants the
man she fell in love with - and that man was a fishmonger not a bin
man.
But Simon's old flame arrives in the village and he admits that
material girl Nicola is making him miserable.
And the rest of the village, love.
EASTENDERS Devastated Keith realises that Rosie
was going to leave him for Mike and so he leaves her for Garry and
Minty. That'll learn `er!
