A bit about: Lucy-Jo Hudson
metromagazine9/12/2005
Lucy-Jo Hudon ate up the screen as father killer Katy Harris in Coronation Street. Her dramatic departure from the soap earlier this year came as the character committed suicide, after beating on-screen father Tommy with a wrench. The actress has been filming a new drama series, but is also appearing with Faith Brown in Cinderella at The Lowry.
The first thing I do when I wake up is... Have
my breakfast. Usually Weetabix, an apple and a bit of sugar.
Ideally I would spend every day... In bed.
If money was no object I would... Just share it
with my family.
The greatest gift I have ever received was... My
grandmother's wedding ring.
My one piece of advice would be... Be nice to the
people you meet on the way up because you'll meet them on the way
down.
My first job was... Working in a fancy dress shop
in York.
I'm scared of... Being buried alive - ever since I
saw a film about it.
I'm excited by... Having a break after this. I've
had a busy year.
If I could go back in time and do one thing again it would
be... I've never had any regrets, I just like to learn
from my mistakes.
I love... My boyfriend Alan.
I hate... My bum. It sticks out too much.
I want... A Mazda RX8.
You have to read... Ok! magazine.
Everyone should listen to... Galaxy 105.
You must watch... Wild At Heart, my new TV drama,
when it comes out next year. It's about a family that go to south
African and set up a big game reserve.
My ultimate ambition would be... To be in a good
British film. Hollywood would be great but I doubt that'll happen
with my accent.
My biggest inspiration has been... My
grandmother.
The first time I fell in love... Is now.
I think God is... A legend.
My epitaph would be... Chocoholic.
Fur or faux? Fake.
Mayonnaise or salad cream? Salad cream.
Eastenders or Coronation Street? Coronation Street
- no competition. I watch Eastenders every now and then, but I want
to slit my wrists afterwards. Having said that, some of the
Coronation Street scenes I was in weren't too cheerful.
Daily Mail or Guardian? Daily Mail.
Harry or William? William.
United or City? My boyfriend's a huge United fan
so I've got to say that.
Chav or scally? Scally.
